One Click before you boil your kettle!

The Literacy site is a fantastic place to shop if you love online shopping, but I go there for a different reason. In less than the time it takes to boil a kettle, or less time than it takes to sign into AOL! I click on the Literacy Site and my click gives sponsors the opportunity to donate free books to the children around the world who need to be given the most precious gift of reading.

So before you go boil your kettle give the site your Click! http://bit.ly/cO5XZo
Who knows you might stay and shop too, which will be more therapeutic than getting rid of all that spam in your AOL inbox anyhow!

The Literacy Site One click per day gives children FREE books to read http://bit.ly/cO5XZo

Join 1Goal to support education for all @ 2010 FIFA World Cup

1GOAL.org is a campaign seizing the power of football to ensure that education or all is a lasting impact of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.  Raising our voices all over the world we believe that, together, we can make education a reality for the millions of boys and girls who remain out of school.  72 million children are being denied the chance to go to school.  These children could be our next generation’s leaders, sports stars, doctors and teachers.  But they face a lifelong struggle against poverty.  Help make a difference and join the 1GOAL team: add the 1GOAL widget to your blog and website.

Under-represented and socially excluded people want to train and gain new skills

With all the snow we have had this week in East Sussex our Training Centre has been closed on the 1st week that all our courses should have begun after the Christmas break.
Despite this when Mandy our Project Support Worker finally got in she was inundated with calls from all our students conscientiously calling with messages of concern that they couldn't get to us.

It confims once again that what we do here at Furntiure Now! is valuable and valued. We will keep the quality of service at their highest levels and continue searching for avenues of funding so that we can deliver what our clients want and need.

If you have any suggestions as to how we could engage those who 'have' to assist us in helping those who 'have not' or 'can't' please fell free to post a comment.

Help Furniture Now! make a real difference to people's lives.
